Ways to Give is a fundraising tool conceived and administered by the Diocese of Bath and Wells to help prospective givers understand all the ways that they can give to their chosen church.
Within their building, most churches promote some of the tools available for giving, but this rarely includes all methods. The quality and quantity of information available often varies greatly from church to church and feedback gathered from clergy and PCCs reveals that, all too often, the existing demands on churches and their PCCs leaves very little time to develop materials needed to help promote giving.
To support this and to help resource our churches, the Giving Team at the Diocese of Bath and Wells have created Ways to Give (WTG). The tool integrates a suite of professionally printed resources (business cards, bookmarks and posters) that direct givers to our WTG website where a church can be quickly selected to reveal all the ways that gifts can be given to support their ongoing ministry and mission. The professional design and print quality of the materials offered by WTG provides added confidence for potential givers.
Ways to Give also provides an interface between visitors and churches such that enquiries regarding giving methods can be made directly via our website. These are then transferred to the relevant person in the church. This means anyone visiting churches when they are unattended can easily be put in touch with the right person to help facilitate their giving.
